What is SoftWave TRT?
SoftWave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that delivers acoustic pressure shockwaves to an injured area to promote healing at the cellular level. Unlike traditional treatments that may only address symptoms, SoftWave targets the source of pain and injury, sparking biological regeneration processes. This therapy is a highly effective alternative to injections, surgery, or medication for many conditions.
How Does SoftWave Therapy Work?
SoftWave utilizes patented electrohydraulic technology and a broad-focused applicator design. This unique design generates therapeutic energy waves that can reach a large area of both superficial and deep tissues. The energy interacts with the tissue, triggering a cellular response known as mechanotransduction. This process involves three phases:
- Physical: Generates positive and negative pressure waves.
- Chemical: Mechanical stimulus leads to biochemical reactions and cell signaling.
- Biological: Results in new blood vessel formation (angiogenesis), inflammatory modulation, and stimulation of tissue regeneration.
The therapy aims to increase blood flow, activate connective tissue, and stimulate the body’s natural healing. It can help reverse chronic inflammation, stimulate collagen production, dissolve calcium build-up (calcified fibroblasts), reduce Substance P (a pain neurotransmitter), and release trigger points.
SoftWave’s broad-focused waves cover a wider and deeper therapeutic zone compared to traditional focused or radial shockwave devices, often providing treatment with fewer pulses and greater comfort.
